After a hearty breakfast of bacon, eggs and rye toast, Steve gave us a tour of the natural beauty of Gros Cap. The views of Lake Superior from atop cliffs of red rock were incredible. The clear blue water was beckoning me to swim.
We were then given a tour of Steve’s property, complete with a professional wood shop and sheds built by his own hands!

Terry, thanks for recommending Pancake Bay – the views were well-worth the 1 km hike down the highway!
The night was spent in Wawa, ON at legitimate campsite, complete with an expertly-crafted campfire.
