I didn’t take many photos today, but I’ll still fill you in.
We packed up camp and headed down Highway 5 to Vancouver, stopping briefly for coffee and blogging (yay!).
Unfortunately, today was the day that Kate and I would part ways. She would stay with a friend near UBC for a couple of days and I would continue my journey solo. Kate was an awesome travel companion and I wish her all the best as she begins her new career!
It was also my first time using AirBnB (highly recommended for fellow travelers – give it a try at https://www.airbnb.ca/). I found a place in North Van – the price was right and it was close to some of the attractions that I wanted to see in Van (stayed tuned for the Day 16 post 🙂 ).
My host was Siavash, who was very welcoming and had an amazing house! I immediately felt right at home.
At the “BnB”, I met fellow travelers Adriana and Martin, from Bulgaria. It was fun to share some Mission Hill wine and stories from the road!
