Slowwwwwwww day.
I had a first-hand look at life in a temperate rainforest – the rain was unrelenting and came down hard all day.
I decided NOT to hike Lone Cone Mountain, but remain indoors near the fireplace and get caught up on my reading.
After awhile I started to get antsy, so I hopped on the boat for Tofino with Rod.
I checked out an art gallery showcasing the work of Roy Henry Vickers. By reading the captions on each of the prints (which are incredible), it is clear that the man is truly passionate about the West Coast and his roots. Definitely a place to check out.
In the evening, four new friends shared in a classic team dinner. Oddly enough, I was the only Canadian among three Germans.

Thanks Anna, Jan and Cornelius for the good times. 🙂
